I wrote a million different versions of this post last night and didn't like any. So, today, I'm just going to let the words flow and not think about the grammar. If you read my 'about' section you already know I love a good pair of jeans. And, not to be annoying but I actually get a lot of compliments on my black jeans, so I had to share them with you all. For the last several years, I've been wearing J Brand black jeans religiously. Caution: they are on the pricey side. My mom thinks I'm crazy for spending so much on jeans but I really do believe they hold up the best. Case in point, these black J Brand jeans. If you care for them properly they won't fade and legit look new all the time. Not only that, but the fact that they're high rise and super skinny make you look tallish. I'm 5'3 ish so a sister can get all the help she needs. I've had two other pairs from J Brand that each lasted me 3-4 years. The first pair I ever bought, I grew out of. The second pair I wore my money's worth LOL...they eventually ripped in the thigh/butt area. Butttt they were both black 'till the day they retired. I promise. If you're searching for a good pair of black jeans I would suggest considering these. They're not even paying me, I just love them a lot.
You might be asking yourself how the heck they last so long. Well, I rarely wash them. Let's say I'm in the car eating a chocolate bar and a crumb ends up melted and smeared on my leg. Because that has happened -all I do is dab a little water and voila. If I sweat profusely, I'll spray them down with Febreeze but they generally shouldn't smell bad. I bought my current pair sometime last year and have only washed them once. They don't sag like other jeans so you have the benefit of not needing to shrink them again. Drying is actually bad for denim because the fibers lose their strength or what not. Anywho, lots of celebs wear this specific style so there's that, too.
What are your favorite black jeans? I'd like to have different cuts for my wardrobe so send suggestions my way!
